70% Of Eurostar Passengers Using Print Anywhere Tickets
Eurostar has reported that approximately 70% of its passengers are now taking advantage of the ‘Print Anywhere’ ticket service which was launched earlier in the year.
The ‘Print Anywhere’ ticket allows Eurostar passengers to go online and retrieve their ticket at their own leisure. Eurostar tickets can then be scanned at all major stations in the UK, France and Belgium.
Nick Mercer, commercial director of Eurostar said: “Print Anywhere ticketing allows our travellers to save time and gives them a greater degree of flexibility and convenience.
Station staff are finding that the majority of people arrive at Eurostar check-in with their tickets already printed – a sure sign that this initiative has been well received.”
Eurostar stopped sending tickets through the post when the initiative was introduced back in April. However, if passengers do not have internet access then they are still able to collect tickets from an e-ticket machine at many major stations.
