Direct Holidays Advertising Push

Wednesday, 30 July 2008

direct holidaysDirect Holidays is being readied for a re-brand in time to promote its Summer Sun 2009 and Winter 2008/9 holiday programmes. Direct Holidays, the UK’s leading direct sell tour operator, was acquired by Thomas Cook last year following their merger with MyTravel.

Accompanied by an advertising campaign focusing on customers who have booked with Direct Holidays in the past, the company will also launch the new strapline  'Direct Holidays - same holiday for less', which is to replace the established 'No travel agent. No commission. Just great value holidays'.

The rebranding will also be supported by Outside the Box, a company hired by Thomas Cook a few weeks ago to take care of direct marketing.

Direct Holidays enable holidaymakers to cut out third parties and their commission, allowing them to save money on holidays, which means more spending money available when away. Direct Holidays are sold over the phone, via their website and through its five UK retail outlets.
