Flights to Tripoli resumed by EgyptAir

Monday, 28 November 2011
Egypt Air has announced it will continue services to Tripoli, ahead of the Arab Air Carriers Organisation Annual General Meeting in Abu Dhabi.

During the political unrest and subsequent armed conflict which swept Libya earlier this year, the Egyptian flag carrier suspended operations.

Now, the airline will run daily non-stop flights between Cairo and Tripoli.

Flights are scheduled to depart from Cairo at 08.30.

Egypt Air is feted as being Africa’s Leading Business Class Airline by the World Travel Awards.
