Hays Travel Extend Cruise Holidays Offering

Hays Travel has extended its presence in the fast growing cruise holidays market with the creation of a new cruise holiday travel agent in Sunderland. Hays Travel Cruise has already generated 8 new jobs since its opening last week and it is hoped that the new venture will generate over £50 million in turnover and achieve first year sales of £1 million.
Hays Travel Chief executive John Hays said: "We have always held a strong position in the cruise market. However, with a new high street presence for our cruise operation we can now strengthen this position even more."
Hays Travel hopes to increase turnover from £307 million to £368 million for the company as a whole. Existing Hays Travel branches are located in South Tyneside.
