las vegas flightsThe city of Las Vegas will receive a welcome advertising boost over December, January and February in order to highlight the city’s attraction to the adult market.

The new press advertising campaign is to begin launched by the Las Vegas Convention and Visitors Authority. Chief executive Rossi Ralenkotter said: "We need to keep our message up and running. The theme of the campaign will be the excitement of the destination and it will be targeted at adults."

Holidays & city breaks in Las Vegas prove popular amongst adult British travellers due to its strong tradition of gambling and shows. A number of new events will also boost upcoming tourism, including the Cirque du Soleil's new tribute show to Elvis, which is scheduled to open in December.

Tourism will also be boosted by yesterday’s announcement that British Airways is to commence daily flights to Las Vegas from Heathrow airport.
