Royal Caribbean Swine Flu Update
Royal Caribbean yesterday announced that they were temporarily suspending any port calls in Mexico following the emergence of Swine Flu. The decision has been made in caution and no further decision will be taken until the full impact of the virus is better understood.
Yesterday’s decision will affect four Royal Caribbean cruise ships which make regular port calls in Mexico, the Enchantment of the Seas, the Freedom of the Seas, the Liberty of the Seas and the Mariner of the Seas.
Also involved are two additional Royal Caribbean ships which are scheduled to make upcoming Mexico port calls, the Serenade of the Seas and the Radiance of the Seas. Both of these ships will follow a revised itinerary as follows:

Royal Caribbean has insisted that they will continue to monitor Swine Flu developments in the future before making any further decisions. The cruise line will also be providing guests with Swine Flu information, screening guests and crew members regarding recent visits to, or via Mexico, as well as carrying out enhanced sanitization of all high-touch areas onboard.
