Thomson Holidays Goes Digital

Thursday, 06 September 2007

Thomson Holidays has taken a step forward in its high street advertising by creating a digital window for its Chester branch. The new window display will feature two 42" digital posters and replace handwritten paper posters.

Thomson Holidays Marketing Manager of Customer Experience Doug Glenwright said: "These digital posters will help to reduce the clutter of the traditional travel agent windows by displaying only two messages at any one time and changing every 10 seconds".

"For staff, the digital posters mean less time merchandising and more time selling; for customers it means clearer communication of our best deals." Late card deals however, will however, continue to remain in place throughout Thomson holidays branches, as Glenwirght confirmed issues could arise from removing these.
