US President-elect Barack Obama could damage the open-skies agreement which proposes to liberalise aviation between Europe and the US. Phase one of OpenSkies allowed Continental and other US airlines into Heathrow, and British Airways to set up its OpenSkies subsidiary operating flights between Amsterdam, New York and Paris.

Orlando Tourism is to launch a multi-million dollar advertising campaign to keep the destination ahead of its competitors.
