World Snowboard Day returns for fourth year

snowboarding holidaysThe World Snowboard Day returns for the fourth time on 20th December 2009. The annual World Snowboard Day is not only for experienced boarders but also gives newcomers the chance to learn and discover the joys of snowboarding and snowboarding culture.

Already there are some 39 events planned in 19 countries worldwide, including Bosnia, Canada, China, Czech Republic, France, Germany, Georgia, Hungary, Iceland, Italy, Macedonia, Moldavia, Austria, Russia, Serbia, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and USA.

The number of destinations taking part in the World Snowboard Day is likely to grow over the next few weeks, and those wishing to keep up to date are advised to visit www.world-snowboard-day.com. It is hoped that the event will get more people involved in winter sports and increase the popularity of snowboarding holidays in the near future. Full updated programs are available on the World Snowboarding Day website.
