XL Airways To Cease Flights From Gatwick To Knock

XL Airways is to finishing operating its service from London Gatwick and Knock on September 2nd. At present, the UK airline operates the service six times weekly, ubt this will cease due to ‘changing market conditions’.
XL Airways is owned by the UK’s third largest tour operator, the XL Leisure Group, who also own XL Holidays, Travel City Direct and Kosmar Holidays. Phil Aird-Mash, CEO of the XL Leisure Group said that routes were continuously reviewed in order to maximize ‘core customer needs’.
XL Airways provides services to over 50 destinations in the Caribbean, Mediterranean, Europe, North Africa and North America from 12 airports in the UK.
